The Centaurus will enlighten Islamabad with an illumination of everlasting beauty. The foremost benefit of this project is that a whole new source of employment will emerge in the capital of Pakistan and will help in nourishing its economy. But besides the charm of this great project there are few things which cannot be ignored. First we have the issue of local security (remember ‘Mariott’ anyone?) and then a little concern over its location as most of the people believe that construction of such huge buildings in Pakistan will result in more pollution and congestion.

And here is an exclusive shot of the Centaurus site office taken by the Pakiology team on March 10, 2009.

We hope the Centaurus makes in time for its year of estimated completion i.e. 2010 but with the economic downfall throughout the world, its hard to guess whether such a project may be able to retain itself in the future.
