Clocks advanced by one hour across Pakistan

Who says Pakistan is behind any other country? Come one guys, we are now leading the world in terms of time atleast. Pakistan Standard time has officially been advanced by one hour. A step taken to use greater part of day light.

In the world over, a number of countries use the day light saving time to maximize the usage of sun light. Considering the acute shortage of  electric energy in the country government has taken this step. According to government sources this ‘new time’ will conserve as much as 300 megawatts of energy.

I have my doubts over conserving energy but I am pretty much sure that their is going to be a mess. As was the case last year, people will often be found confused over ‘purana time’ (old time) and ‘naya time’ (New time).

Yeah this ‘new time’ and ‘old time’ thing often confuses people. BTW I think we should find new ways to generate electricity instead of advancing the clocks.
