The Prime Minister of Pakistan Mr Shahbaz Sharif has de-notified all the members of the Pakistan Medical Commission.
Nomination of all council members of PMC including the VC of PMC Advocate Ali Raza is withdrawn. NLE, MDCAT and all other exams will be conducted according to the schedule given by PMC.
According to the PMC act 2020, The nomination of members of the council is the prerogative of the Prime minister of Pakistan.
According to government sources, it was decided to restore PMC instead of PMDC. Pakistan People’s Party expressed reservations regarding the members.

O. 1563 (1)/2022.-In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section-6 of the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC), Act, 2020 (XXXIII of 2020), the nominating appointing authority i.e. Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan is pleased to withdraw the nominations of all members of Medical and Dental Council notified vide SRO No. 963(1)2020 dated 25th September 2020 with immediate effect.
