MDCAT 2022 Test Date and Schedule

 

The Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2022 is just around the corner, and applicants are scrambling to prepare for the test.
 

MDCAT 2022 Passing Marks:

PMC has declared MDCAT 2022 passing marks. The required percentage in medical colleges is 65% which is 130/200 marks. Whereas for dental colleges it is 55% which is 110/200 marks.
 

MDCAT 2022 Test Dates:

PMC will conduct MDCAT 2022 online across Pakistan from 14th September to 30th October while abroad it will be held on 1st October 2022.

MDCAT 2022 Syllabus & Paper Pattern

The Medical College Admission Test, or MDCAT, is a standardized test taken by students applying to medical school in Pakistan. The test is administered by the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) and is required for admission to all public and private medical colleges in the country.
 
This test consists of five sections:
  • BIOLOGY: 68 MCQs
  • CHEMISTRY: 54 MCQs
  • PHYSICS: 54 MCQs
  • ENGLISH: 18 MCQs
  • L. REASONING: 06 MCQs
  • Total MCQs: 200 MCQs
  • Total Marks: 200
  • Total Time: 210 Minutes
  • No negative marking
 

MDCAT 2022 DIFFICULTY LEVEL:

  • 20 % MCQs —– Easy
  • 60% MCQs—— Moderate
  • 20% MCQs—— Hard

 

Note: 70% of questions in the Biology, Chemistry, and Physics section will recall questions and 30% will be multiple choice system-level applications.
